Glass Expressions: From Museum Maassluis to Copenhagen

A new update 😊
Last month, my boyfriend Samuel and I spent two weeks in the Netherlands. We did a lot of fun things, saw family and friends, and attended a beautiful wedding. But… there was something else very exciting on the agenda! The opening of the new exhibition at Museum Maassluis, where I’m one of the featured artists! It was a successful and enjoyable opening, thank you to everyone who was there!

From September 14th to December 31st, 2024, you can admire a stunning exhibition in Museum Maassluis with glass art as the theme. Four artists from Maassluis and eight artists from Glasz Art Professionals have created special and expressive glass artworks, most of them specifically made for this exhibition. Are you curious about what I’m exhibiting but can’t come to the museum? Under this link, you will find photos of the artworks.

We are now safely back home in Copenhagen and busy with work again. Unfortunately, the season for the bike tours is almost over. It was and is great to learn so much about the city you live in, and wonderful to spend so much time outside when the sun is shining. But now I prefer to stay inside, ideally next to a nice warm glass furnace, as it gets colder and wetter outside, and the tourists feel the same way!
Do you remember I worked at Studio Arhoj last year? I’m back!
Studio Arhoj is a glass and ceramics shop where customers can see the products being handmade by us in real-time. They are incredibly popular on Instagram, and people come from all over the world to visit the shop.
Besides working at Studio Arhoj, I still work with Christian at his company, Copenhagenglass. I enjoy working with him a lot.
This month, I’m going back to the island of Bornholm for a week, where my Danish glass adventure began. I’ll be assisting a friend with glassblowing, which I’m really looking forward to! After that, I’ll spend another 1.5 weeks in Ebeltoft, where I’ll rent my old workspace at the glass museum to blow glass for myself and assist two other glassblowers. Lots of exciting things ahead!
